"Elaf Group," a leader in the hospitality industry, participates as a gold sponsor in the events and sessions of the Future of Hospitality Summit (FHS), which commenced today, Monday, in Jumeira City, Dubai, UAE. The summit will continue until Wednesday, the second of October. At its exhibition booth, Elaf showcases its prominent services, hotels, and over 40 years of expertise in hotel and hospitality management.

The summit features a large number of speakers, investors, hotel owners, operators, innovators in the hospitality sector, and a select group of experts, officials, and developers in tourism and hospitality. Held under the theme "Investing in the Future," the summit discusses the evolution of the global hospitality industry, exploring investment opportunities, sustainable development, the importance of investing in human capital, and the future prospects of the industry in the coming years.

Elaf's participation in the summit is part of its continuous effort to stay updated with global advancements in hospitality, aligning with its strategic vision and plans to develop its facilities and services and empower national talent in the tourism and hospitality sector in Saudi Arabia, in line with the significant progress and development seen in these sectors in the country.

On the sidelines of the summit, Elaf Group signed a partnership agreement with Guest Supply, a global company specializing in supplying eco-friendly products for hospitality services, known for their clean composition free of sulfates and parabens. This agreement is the first of its kind at a regional level to support environmental sustainability, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 for the environment, and the outputs of the "Green Saudi" and "Green Middle East" initiatives, as well as the sustainability priorities of the "United Nations Organization for Tourism."

Guest Supply will provide Elaf with completely plastic-free products for personal use by customers to offer sophisticated hospitality, minimize environmental harm, and reduce "plastic products."

The agreement was signed by Sami Boukhaled, Vice President of Hotel Operations for Elaf Group, and Gustav Lantz, Senior Vice President of the company for Asia, the Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Following the signing, Boukhaled expressed his pleasure to represent Elaf Group in this significant agreement with a global company that supports sustainability in hospitality services, marking the first regional collaboration in this field and the first agreement of its kind at the national level in the Kingdom, confirming Elaf's commitment to supporting sustainability through its various hotels and facilities.

وتأتي القمة بمشاركة عدد كبير من المتحدثين والمستثمرين، وأصحاب الفنادق والمشغلين والمبتكرين في قطاع الضيافة، ونخبة من الخبراء والمسؤولين والمطورين في مجالي السياحة والضيافة، وتقام تحت شعار "الاستثمار في المستقبل"، وتناقش تطور صناعة الضيافة في العالم، واستكشاف الفرص الاستثمارية، والتنمية المستدامة، وأهمية استثمار رأس المال البشري، وملامح مستقبل الصناعة خلال السنوات المقبلة.

وتأتي مشاركة "إيلاف" في القمة في إطار حرصها الدائم على الوقوف على أحدث المستجدات العالمية في مجال الضيافة، وذلك ضمن رؤيتها وخططها الإستراتيجية لتطوير مرافقها وخدماتها، وتمكين الكوادر الوطنية في قطاع السياحة والضيافة بالمملكة، وذلك تماشيًا مع ما تشهده السعودية من نهضة وتطور كبيرين في قطاعي السياحة والضيافة.

وعلى هامش القمة، وقَّعت مجموعة "إيلاف" اتفاقية شراكة مع شركة (Guest Supply) العالمية، المتخصصة في توريد منتجات صديقة للبيئة في خدمات الضيافة والفندقة، وبمواصفات تدعم الاستدامة، ومعروفة بتركيبتها النظيفة وخلوّها من الكبريتات والبارابين، وهي أول اتفافية على مستوى المنطقة لدعم الاستدامة البيئية، وهو ما يتوافق مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030 للبيئة، ومخرجات مبادرة "السعودية الخضراء" و"الشرق الأوسط الأخضر"، وأولويات منظمة "الأمم المتحدة للسياحة" في الاستدامة.

ومن المُقرر أن تقدم (Guest Supply) لـ "إيلاف" منتجات تدعم الاستدامة للاستخدام الشخصي للعملاء خالية تمامًا من البلاستيك؛ من أجل تقديم ضيافة راقية للعملاء، والتقليل من الأضرار البيئية، والحد من " المنتجات البلاستيكية".

ووقَّع الاتفاقية من جانب مجموعة "إيلاف" سامي بوخالد، نائب الرئيس التنفيذي للفنادق، وجوستاف لانتز، نائب الرئيس الأول للشركة لمنطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادي وأوروبا والشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا.

وعقب التوقيع عبَّر بوخالد عن سعادته لتمثيل مجموعة إيلاف في تلك الاتفاقية المهمة مع شركة عالمية تدعم الاستدامة في خدمات الضيافة والفندقة بحجم شركة (Guest Supply)، التي تُعد أول تعاون إقليمي في هذا المجال، وأول اتفاقية من نوعها على مستوى المملكة، وهو ما يؤكد حرص "إيلاف" على دعم الاستدامة من خلال فنادقها ومرافقها المختلفة.
